Mark Your Calendar for Earth Day: April 17, 2010

Every year Wilmington celebrates Earth Day at Hugh MacRae Park around the 3rd Saturday in April; usually from 12pm-6pm. Next year's event is scheduled for Saturday, April 17th, 2010. Bring your family and friends to this free event and enjoy food, beverage, live entertainment, a learning center, children's zone, and even shopping — all to celebrate our planet. More details of Earth Day 2010 will be announced as soon as possible. Please check back as this website will be updated with event information.

2010 Theme: “Reduce”

Every year, the Wilmington Earth Day Alliance chooses a theme for it's annual celebration of Earth Day. Earth Day Celebration 2008 at Hugh MacRae ParkIn an effort to get back to the basics, this year's theme is “Reduce”. If you can reduce from the beginning, then you will have less to deal with in the end (recycle).
