In 2021, the Wilmington Earth Day Alliance wants spread the excitement and learning of Earth Day across the region. Our aim: to create a one-stop shop for all Earth Day or earth-friendly happenings during the entire MONTH of April for you to get involved in!
How to Participate & Win Prizes
Use the map and calendar below to find a participating place or event near you. After your experience, report your activity using our online form (below). One entry per person per experience, please! On each Friday in April (beginning April 9th), join us at 1 p.m. on Facebook Live as we draw a name from that week's entries and announce a winner of a special prize!

Earth Day 2021: In honor of Mark Mueller
In 2021, the Wilmington Earth Day Alliance wants celebrate our love of the Earth by honoring a person who was beloved in our community and cared about bringing people together and experiencing the great things the Cape Fear region has to offer. Mark is deeply missed. We think a wonderful way to celebrate his life is for people to explore our community, learn what it has to offer, and have a giant smile while you do it.
